On February 15, 2019 Billboard announced that Grammy Award-winning duo, Wisin &Yandel, will headline Sony/ATV Iconic Songwriter Q&A Session during the Billboard Latin Music Week at The Venetian in Las Vegas during the week of April 22-25, 2019.
After being separated for 5 years and working independently on their music careers, Wisin and Yandel keep being the only duo in the urban music genre that have sold out the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York. Their first single together after 6 years, “Reggaeton en lo Oscuro“, became their eleventh single to reach first place in the Billboard “Latin Airplay” list.
Billboard Latin Music Week features three days of Q&A sessions that will focus on streaming, videos, mainstream and Latin Collaborations and many more. It will also be bringing back this year its standout women’s panel, which was a catalyst for change in the Latin industry in 2018. They have also announce the panel “Machismo and Feminism”, which will look at contemporary regional Mexican music. Billboard’s Latin Music Week has for decades driven the force in Latin music, and this year is not the exception, since they previously announced trap star Annual AA will be joining as one of the headliners of this year’s conference.
